Upplandsleden Stage 7 Almunge - Knutby 19.5 km

The stage starts just outside Almunge. We walked this stage in the summer and it can kindly be described as a humid and mosquito rich jungle topped with areas of dense brushwood. The lake that looks nice on the map can almost be described as a body of water with an unclear shoreline. You can't even see the water and the footbridge to the shelter was invisible behind the four meter high reeds.

The whole hike we asked ourselves if this stage would have been better earlier or later in the season.

The only positive thing to say was that the trail was exceptionally well marked on the terrain.
