why outdoors?

Running in the forest is better than gym training

Professor Richard Mitchell conducted the study at Glasgow University in Scotland and nearly 2,000 physically active people participated in the study.

Mitchell and his colleagues looked at exercise in both natural settings and more urban environments such as gyms. Participants performed the physical activity in the form of walking, running and cycling exercises, among others.

The results were clear - 50% more of the people who do the physical activity where there is nature have better mental health than those who exercise in a gym, for example.

Researchers believe that this is because the brain's stress is reduced when people are close to nature.

Should we have coffee or go for a walk?

Being a leader can be lonely. A cup of coffee, a walk and someone to talk to can be a start.
