Laax, Flims and Fallera, Switzerland

We visited Laax during the sports vacation with the family. We stayed in the older part of Flims which was genuine and nice. The ski area is very large with fall heights up to 2000 meters. The length of the longest slope was debated but was at least 15 km. The skiing is generally quite gentle although there are some steep slopes. There are also endless possibilities for off-piste.

Most of the lifts are gondolas and eggs. However, there are some old-fashioned chairlifts and some button and drag lifts that are both long and slow. Overall, the size of the system and the long, well-prepared slopes were particularly impressive.
