Engadin is a valley with several ski areas. The main town is St. Moritz, known as a winter sports resort for the rich and famous. However, if you avoid any neighborhood in Dorf and don't stay in the 5-star hotels, the village feels like any other ski resort.

Corviglia is the largest ski area and has a very well organized lift system and well prepared slopes. There is an endless amount of easily accessible off-piste that lasts days after snowfall.

At the mischievous little brother Corvatsch there is a lot of fun skiing. The mountain offers, in addition to really steep skiing from the top, a moonscape-like playground with varied skiing on large unpaved areas with drops and jumps. The lift system and eateries are not as modern as in Corviglia but work well.

Take the World Heritage-listed train and stay at high altitude and ride on a glacier or with a mountain guide in Diavolezza.

Should you want to take a day off from skiing, Muottas Muragl offers one of Switzerland's longest toboggan runs(!). In S-Chanf you will find Serlas Parc with really innovative indoor climbing.

Good bus and train connections make it easy to travel between the different ski areas and also make it possible to live more comfortably and cheaply in the small towns around the area.

Should we have coffee or go for a walk?

Being a leader can be lonely. A cup of coffee, a walk and someone to talk to can be a start.
