Bormio, Italy

Bormio is about 2.5 hours by car from Bergamo airport and the road is decent. The lift system may look small at first glance but is sufficient for a longer stay. Well-planned and fast chairlifts make the rides more than long. I would probably describe the skiing as moderately difficult and would probably not take the smallest children or beginners with me even if there are more gentle slopes. The village is larger, feels very genuine and everything you need is there.
