27 Seconds, snow

Murder mystery in a mountain cabin.

2015-09-03

Anyone who has skied in the mountains knows what a weather forecast of 27 seconds of snow means. It's about getting ready to go to a bivouac or preferably to take shelter in a mountain hut.

A group of skiers embark on a five-day ski trip in the Lapland mountains. Due to a severe storm, they get snowed in at a mountain cabin.

On the first night, a murder occurs and the group realizes that the murderer must be one of them. In order to endure the following days trapped in the cottage with the wind howling around the corner, they must try to solve the murder mystery themselves.

27 Seconds, Snow is an exciting psychological thriller in the spirit of Agatha Christie, directed by Tobias Falk.

The film, released in 2005, is based on Kjerstin Göransson-Ljungman's 1939 novel of the same name.

A classic murder mystery but in a setting and time that is unusual for this type of movie. Despite the darkness, it provides inspiration to start planning winter tours.

Should we have coffee or go for a walk?

Being a leader can be lonely. A cup of coffee, a walk and someone to talk to can be a start.
