127 hours

An exciting story that takes you on a journey that shows what we can do when we choose to live.

2014-10-17

The movie 127 Hours was released in 2010 and tells the true story of climber Aron Ralston's remarkable adventure to save himself after a fall in which a boulder pinches his arm and traps him in an isolated rock crevice in Moab, Utah.

Over the next five days of struggle against nature, Aron goes through his life to finally discover that he has both the courage and the means to break free, then free-climb a twenty-meter rock face and hike over a mile before finally being rescued.

The movie is scary, claustrophobic and nerve-wracking. Filmmaker Danny Boyle does a fantastic job of making you both cringe and want to chug something bubbly to celebrate the final victory.

Should we have coffee or go for a walk?

Being a leader can be lonely. A cup of coffee, a walk and someone to talk to can be a start.
