Challenging navigation and a cozy cabin to rest in
The stage is quite long and the rugged terrain can initially make it difficult to find. A handheld GPS can make the hike easier.
A little more than halfway, you will pass Bergshamra where there are some services, accommodation and communication facilities.
At Grevinnans Rå you will find Jerling's cabin, which is always open for hikers to stay overnight or just have a coffee. After the cabin, the trail descends and becomes increasingly easy to walk before you reach Penningby.
Bus connections via Åkersberga or two cars take you to the start and finish.
